Grandpa

A month ago while shopping I found this pretty shaving mug.

It didn't come home with me that day, there was no time, bad service, and a price discrepancy on another item that made me put it back.
So imagine my surprise when I saw it was still on the shelf this morning.

I'm not sure why they make men's shaving mugs so pretty and dolled up with flowers.

But I don't mind.

...it reminds me of someone special.

  1. Too pretty for a man but I sure love it. I love the handle and the height of it. Perfect for tea.

  2. Love the pinks in your sweet cup; I've often wondered that too--why so pretty for "dad" and "grandpa" shaving mugs with florals--I think it was really to please the eye of the women! Gorgeous pics!

  3. What a sweet little cup. I love that it is all prettied up even for a man because the maker had to be thinking of the lady.

  5. Happy New Year Tami!!! I hope you had a wonderful Holiday. I love the cup and that it reminds you of someone that you love. I lost my Papa 15 years ago yesterday and I still love him and miss him so much, so anything that reminds me of him, I have. :)

  6. It's very sweet! I am not sure why they look so feminine. My dad had a very plain ivory colored one...I loved to watch him lather his soap in it. Great memories!

  19. I'm loving this and this has nothing to do with me being a girl. It's just so pretty on its own. I have been searching for enameled mugs or look alikes for ages now. Lucky you!
