Frog Cake

That doesn't sound very appetizing does it? But it's just so cute!

Playing around with my small collection of Flower Frogs I decided to stack them and got this adorable look, resembling a Wedding Cake:)

Flower Frogs are highly collectable vintage items, that are so much fun to have around.

They make wonderful place card holders at a table, or can be used to leave your Beloved a note...such as "pick up your socks"-;)

I personally adore the tiny ones. But they come in many shapes, sizes, designs, and colors.

I recently sold a large Hair Pin Frog in my shop. It was gorgeous. I just may be having "seller's remorse". It comes with the territory.

Do you own any of these lovely little Flower Frogs? If so, how do you display them? Leave a comment if you wish. I love the new feature that I can reply directly to you in my post.
For those of you who've been having troubles commenting, I'm looking into the reason why. And thank you for letting me know. Finally, a warm Welcome to my New Followers! So happy to have you! hugs, tami

  7. Well Now I have noticed the "reply" button is gone! Oh Grrr Blogger can work the nerves! Thank you for the lovely comments everyone. I will have to look at my settings, the previous post had added a nice little button to reply to comments, I suspect Blogger is working on a feature or maybe I accidentally clicked something new.

  12. Flower frogs are one of my favorite collections! I used them around the house, in my studio and the rest are displayed in an old divided drawer (like a cubby)!

  20. Hi cutie,

I love those - and they look so cool stacked up like that. If you change your comment setting to 'po-up' or so that they appear on a separate page then there shouldn't be any more problems...it's only on blogs where the comments are below the post, as yours are currently.

  24. I have one frog. The day I bought it I forgot it was in my bag and almost started crying when I jammed it under my fingernail. But other than that little incident, I love it!

  25. Ooooo! I never thought of stacking frogs like that!

    What a nifty idea!

And I just so happen to have one of your lovely birdie tags I could use....hmmmm.....

Of course all my frogs are packed away out in the storage shed right now....boo! hiss!

Most of mine are of the glass variety, but I do have a couple metal ones.

I think I'll be on the look out for some metal ones now, though..........

  26. I'll have to remember your idea of stacking the frogs! I have just a couple right now and one I use in my bathroom on a shelf to hold a vintage postcard. See it here (in the second photo):
