Winner Winner!!!

Hey! Thanks for joining in on the cool giveaway, there were only around 17 winners, with some of you getting extra chances for "liking" on Facebook, and following them on Twitter. That being said, we do have a winner...
Congrats to Sandi, of
Wayside Treasures  who posted as anonymous.

I do want to thank all of you for entering,  I didn't link that particular post up to any parties as the theme just didn't fit, and I wasn't sure if it was ok with the hostesses.
But that just means better chances for all of you.
I plan on having another fun giveaway soon, before the year is up, and promise to have a cool prize for the winner.
Your following me means a lot, I know my blog is not so popular, and I try hard not to bore any of you.
A few of you have emailed me regarding my new booth, it's awesome, it's like having my own little store, because you have to enter it and it has it's own four walls, so it's really a room.
I've been filling it with Shabby Chic treasures, we finished two pretty dining chairs, and one, shabby chic garden chair, antique white tables, and lots of pretty china, and curious finds. I'll take photos soon, we're putting up our sign on Monday. Thanks again, and Congrats to Sandi!

Still Time

I'll announce the winner tonight, Cali time, we're a little laid back 'round here ;)
The prize is 100 custom printed post cards just for you, and they'll print most anything you want on them. How cool is that?
See you tonight, xxx

News...Boo...And Lavender Too

Is it me, or is there something about Lavender?

Not just the wonderful aroma but the color, and even the softness of the tiny seed like petals that just makes you feel calm, cool, and collected?

Actually it's a scientific fact it does just that, well at least the calm and cool part ;)

The pretty little pillows in the bowl were gifts with purchases from a couple of bloggers who happen to have shops.

The French writing sachet was from
Kristin of My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia

and the antique linen sachet from
Maria of Dreamy Whites

It smells just wonderful.

The pretty French Style Pitcher was a thrifted find, far too good to be true so I'll spare you the price ;)
Shopping online is getting a little too tempting for me, how 'bout you?

Speaking of shopping...
After years and years of thinking about it, wondering should I? Having friends suggest it, we finally took the plunge and got a business license and will open up our own little collectables booth in one of our town's most popular malls. I stopped in the other day and found my favorite booth was open, empty and in need of a dealer, and with the incredible price on the rent, my Husband and I figured we really had nothing to lose. We'll be selling all sorts of lovely things which will include:
English transferware, cottage furniture, pretty pillows, curious finds, and original artwork.

Should be an adventure to say the least ;)

And have you met Boo? No? Well allow me to introduce you to the most adorable dog you'll ever meet!

He's got his own Facebook page, and has been on Good Morning America as well as done some modeling. To see more of Boo (who just so happens to melt my heart)

Fluff And Other Stuff

Greetings one and all! A big hello and welcome to those of you who are new followers ( I see you there;) )!
Just a quickie to share a couple new pillow, the (grey floral in the photo)

Isn't it lovely? It's for my bedroom. I have some form of florals throughout my home. They all have a cottage feel. I'm planning on a bedroom re-do (more of a spritzing up) and should have a post ready after the year end. I know that's a long while but this is a busy season for me, and I just won't have the time to devote to it.
The pretty red chenille is an estate sale find for drum roll please...
10cents! It's been on my bed for ages, and it appears will marry nicely with the new one (after a shampoo, oh my, what tales a photo will tell)

I got the new floral pillow from Maria's Shop
I highly suggest you take the time to splurge and treat yourself to something, anything from her shop, which is amazing, by the way.
She is such a generous person, and sent along the pretty little blue lavender pillow as a gift. Everything comes wrapped so gorgeously and smells incredible when your package arrives. But you all know this already...I think by now everyone has shopped with Maria of Dreamy Whites. You can also see an ad for her shop mentioned in the latest issue of Romantic Country.

And the red pitcher...$5 at Ross today, it's for my outdoor bistro set.
On another note, perhaps you all recall my sharing this French Deli Sign?
At the time I did not reveal that my Hubby is the artist.
Well we were browsing online the other day looking at antiques and he came across this photo from a store in Santa Barbara
Kind of similar eh? There really is "nothing new under the Sun"
Thanks so much for reading...and following, it's much appreciated!
