Miniature Musts

I very often find myself wanting to come up with something special to bring as a hostess gift. So years ago I started stocking up on little things I could put together when the time came , without having to stop by store.
This past year I began picking up pretty little creamer pitchers here and there at the thrift shop. Very reasonably priced, many missing their mates (the sugar bowls).

I fill them with flowers, and add a tag, the tag can simply say
Merci' or Thank You, or Get Well Soon, or like the one above, Happy Anniversary ( made for my boss on her special day).

My one tip is if the creamer is more petite, I keep the flowers the same, using buds, or smaller blooms. Pull them from your garden, whatever you have on hand.

My friends and co workers  love them, and I find it a bit more special than just a card.  There are countless ideas though, a special candle (pick up a few when they're on sale), I also fill a mesh bag with sea shells and add a pretty tag with vintage key, for a quick little thank you for any little thing.
Keep pretty mesh bags on hand you can fill with chocolates.
Just little ways to say thank you....and with that...Thank you all, xxx

  15. Now that is such a cute idea!

I think everyone would enjoy having that extra little pitcher/creamer/vase around to use over and over.

And each time they use it, they remember you and your thoughtfulness!

Cute tags...is there a reason behind the keys...or do you just like keys??

    I LOVE keys!

  16. What a brilliant idea, Tami! It's such a great idea to have these things on hand, vs. scrambling at the last minute to put something together (ask me how I know).

A friend of mine has what he calls "the gift closet" where he keeps gift-y type items for all occasions that he picks up throughout the year. He says all he has to do is slap on a bow and a gift tag et voila he's all set! I am just not that organized, but it is a goal to reach for!

    Best,

    Kimberly

  21. Gorgeous, jugs are my favourite way to display flowers, and the mini ones are so cute. My favourite thank you gift is a homemade teacup candle - although I may be running out of people who I haven't given them to now!

    Thanks for the visit

  22. I had much rather receive one of your special bouquets in a cute little creamer than to get a bottle of wine or a bunch of flowers.
Love the idea of gifting them.

(I collect mason jars etc and put bird food in them then add embellished labels as my gifts)
