It Is Pure...

A pretty old Hires Root Beer Mug found on one of my thrifty treasure hunts filled with Honey Suckle.

It's from the early 1900's, and is a little worse for wear, but I love it.
The color of the Ironstone, and the lettering appeal to me.
And so did the price...$1.00

Also pictured is a pretty little white Ironstone Butter Dome. At least I think that's what it is.

And the Beverage trough behind it was another find, already painted white and distressed for $2.00 it had to come home with me. We have already a larger white one we use for parties, but this one's smaller and perfect for wine.
I picked up these sweet little Chalk Board Clothes Pins not long ago to give away to two random winners as a thank you to those of you who are so kind to comment on my posts.
Using random.org, I chose a winner from two of my most recent posts and they are as follows
Diane from Passionate For White
And Marty from A Stroll Thru Life
Congratulations Ladies! You each will receive a package of these pretty Chalk Board Clothes Pins to use however you want. They make pretty place card holders or you can glue a magnet to the back and place them on your fridge to hold reminder notes or photos, sky's the limit. Please email me your contact info. Again, thanks to all who visit and comment, and a big Hello and Welcome to my newest followers! xxx tami
(Thanks to those of you who mentioned my flowers are not Honeysuckle, but Star Jasmine or Confederate Jasmine, I thought it might be as a couple friends told me it was, but then it was a bit sticky and had the lovely aroma of Honeysuckles, silly me and my brown thumb)
