Recently we got some bad news, some friends of ours had a house fire and lost their beloved home.
We all rallied 'round to make sure they got meals sent to their hotel for dinner and when it was my turn, I made my "Sunday Gravey" which means I made a wonderfully meat filled pasta sauce I cooked for many hours on the stovetop.
I included salad and garlic bread and then wanted to add some sort of sweets for desert and had to come up with it last minute.

I've made this before , so simply spread some Nutella on strawberries, and voila! Instant desert in a few minutes!
Normally when I make these, I spread the Nutella on so it looks like a rosebud, but I was in an incredible hurry and had to let them sit a bit in the fridge while I finished the salad and bread, so these are not exactly neat and pretty, but...I decided to photograph them anyway so you can see how easy it is.

Simply spread Nutella on some washed and cleaned Strawberries you've skewered. ( I keep skewers at the ready in my untensil drawer). I popped them in a box I had on hand, as well as included the pretty ribbon and tissue, also kept at the ready in my credenza drawer for hostess gifts.

This took about ten minutes, and if you slow down a bit they'll look like rosebuds, and you may even get a hug or two;)
