Les Plaques

French Plates I found while thrifting...

I've shared them before, but hopefully these photos are a bit clearer.
The hallmark says they're from France, but I just loved the very Rachel Ashwell Shabby vintage roses they sport.
Since there were only four, and they're the perfect size for cake, I'll have to use them for desert when having just a couple over.
It's been lovely weather here, even a bit too warm for my taste. Our Springs are rather short and we get right into hot weather by the end of May. So I might get a bit cranky, not with you all, but just in general ;)
Although...having cake on pretty French plates does tend to help with the crankies:) See you all very soon, xxx tami

  9. These are really pretty and definitely shabby and chic! If you find something in the same colors, you can mix and match, I do that a lot. I probably have more dessert/salad plates then anything.

We made it up to 54 today and I have the windows wide open. Come on summer!

  11. If cake is the cure for crankiness, I say "let's eat cake!". I love your dishes. I am using very similiar ones on my post tonight. While photographing my table,a big gust of wind knocked over my flower vase and it fell on my pretty plate and broke it. Boo-hoo! I only had 4 too, now 3!
Let me know if the weather realated cranky cure works!

  21. Oh, these are so lovely, Tami. Everything you do has *your* gorgeous style stamped all over it. I so wish I could come round for a slice of cake on these plates and have a chat with you.

I got the Shoppybag email from you but didn't open it. Still, I'm flattered they thought I was worthy of such a scam via you!!!
