Always in Bloom

Here are a few images of some of my china collection. Most of which is floral. I have lots and lots of English patterns, as well as some Danish, Japanese, and American. I've been collecting for over 20 years. I love red glass so you'll find a bit of it mixed in. Enjoy your day xxx tami

Newish Appliances

We've lived in our home for over 7 years, and kept putting off getting new appliances. The main reason is that we've always been of the mind set "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" but over time, I found I just couldn't stand it anymore. After painting the kitchen cabinets (they went from a grungy brown to fresh white) , we decided it was a good time to replace our old stove top, hood, and oven. (the fridge is getting a little makeover, for now.) You'll notice our old tile ( I plan on painting that also, however it's in discussion/debate at the moment). We opted out of a hood, and a decorative piece was added instead. We added a new affordable glass cooktop, very easy to clean, and care for. Here's a few photos of the work in progress. By the way...the oven (the white one) is actually used and not new, it's the one I chose online when looking, and the cost was between $800.00 and $2000.00 (for self cleaning, which is the one we ended up with) however we were in a thrift store one day and found it, for sale for only $65.00, that's right. It pays to thrift! We paid a friend to install it and he did a great job. We're thrilled with it, and it works great! I've since added accessories, but these are the photos after installation.

Have all the salad you want, light white wine, and good conversation. Virtually "guilt free"

Movie Homes

A few photos  of one of my all time favorite movie homes.  Although a tear jerker, you may find yourself distracted by all the lovely antiques and vintage eye candy.

I love her style

These are some photos of Sharon Osbourne's home. I am a huge fan of her decorating style and it's certainly inspired me over the years. The first couple of seasons of  the Osbourne's reality show definately showed off her love of Shabby Chic as well as her english origins. Her kitchen was amazing with white cabinets and glass knobs. She always had unique items such as her lovely "pear lamp".  And vintage sitting pieces as well as slipcovered chairs in white or floral patterns.

Coming Soon!

I'll soon have all the details sorted and upload some real photos of our kitchen, and a few others. We've been super busy and I seem to have an issue with my laptop not wanting to accept the photo program from our camera. Sorry about the long absence. I'll have a new look as well, be sure to check back xoxo
