Going Green

We recently celebrated our Anniversary. I had to work that day. But when a beautiful bouquet of flowers arrived, it certainly made it all better. (Thank you Baby)

Here they are below, at the breakfast table the next morning, with a few vintage pieces. Kent china in green and white from England. The glass candle goblets are all from estate sales and thrift shops. The first one I purchased was just 10cents, the other two I found on two separate occasions each for 25cents. Not bad as they add some pretty color when the candles are lit.The little hen salt and pepper were also a vintage thrift shop find for a mere $1.00. They usually sit in my china hutch but I think they work perfectly for a breakfast table and add a bit of red. I love their chips and glazed finish.  I'll be linking up toCourtney's French Country Cottage
and toMy Romantic Home
and to Linda's at Coastal Charm for her Nifty Thrifty Tuesday Party

  25. Hi, Tami

When I first was married in the early 70's, I had the same green glass candle holder. I got rid of it cause I was not a fan of anything avocado green at the time! Now, I wish I had it again. I never thought to put candles in it, I used it to hold a silk floral arrangement. Your table is very pretty and reminds me of the coming of spring.
