Rustic Charm

Just a few photos of my ever changing vignettes in my dining room. I use the top of my little cabinet that holds china to display fresh flowers or store my extra cake stands. So this morning I displayed a little vintage  zincish bird cage. Another thrifty find for $4.99 at a local discount store. The Rooster was a gift from my husband when we bought our home (as it was our first)  6 or 7 years ago. I do use him as a center piece on my dining table from time to time, or simply sit him on the floor. To add color I snipped some berries from a bush just outside our front door, and set some poms inside my cake dome for a bit more red.
